FACE MASK: Combine 1 tbsp of clay to 2 tbsp of water and 1 tsp of carrier oil to form a paste. Optional: a few drops of your favorite essential oil (such as lavender or tea tree oil) for added benefits and fragrance. Apply to the skin and leave on for about 10 minutes before washing off with warm water.

BODY WRAP RECIPE: Mix enough clay with water to make a creamy paste. Apply to body, avoiding eyes & sensitive areas. Relax 10-15 minutes or until dry. Exfoliate off in shower.

HOW TO USE

Face mask (most common)
1. Cleanse your face and pat dry.
2. In a non-metal bowl, mix 1 tsp clay with 1–2 tsp water (or hydrosol) to a smooth paste.
o Optional: add a few drops of carrier oil if your skin is dry.
3. Apply a thin, even layer, avoiding eyes and lips.
4. Leave on 5–10 minutes (sensitive/dry) or 10–15 minutes (normal/oily).
Tip: Don’t let it fully crack and dry—mist with water if needed.
5. Rinse with lukewarm water and a soft cloth.
6. Follow with toner + moisturizer/oil.
Frequency: 1× weekly (dry/sensitive) or 1–2× weekly (normal/oily).
Spot treatment
• Mix a small amount of clay with water to a thicker paste.
• Apply to the blemish for 10–15 minutes, then rinse and moisturize.
Scalp/hair mask (clarifying)
1. Wet scalp/hair slightly.
2. Mix 1–2 tbsp clay with water to a yogurt-like texture.
3. Apply mainly to the scalp/roots.
4. Leave 5–10 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly, then use shampoo + conditioner.
Frequency: every 2–4 weeks (or as needed).
Body mask (back/chest)
• Apply like a face mask, leave 10–15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water, moisturize.
Quick tips
