Lavender Floral Water (Hydrosol or Hydroflorate) is a gentle botanical distillate obtained during the steam distillation of lavender essential oil. This aromatic floral water carries the soft, natural scent of lavender along with water-soluble plant compounds, making it a versatile ingredient for skincare and personal care formulations.

Floral waters, also known as hydrosols or hydroflorates, are similar to essential oils but much milder. During the steam distillation process, water passes through the plant material to extract essential oil. After condensation, the collected water retains delicate aromatic molecules and beneficial botanical components from the original plant.

Lavender Floral Water is commonly used in facial toners, lotions, creams, clay masks, and after-sun sprays. It can also be incorporated into lip balms, soaps, cosmetic formulations, and other personal care products to add gentle hydration and a naturally calming lavender aroma.
