Rose Floral Water (Hydrosol) is a gentle botanical distillate created during the steam distillation of rose petals for essential oil production. This aromatic floral water captures the delicate scent and water-soluble components of the rose, making it a refreshing and versatile ingredient for natural skincare.

Hydrosols, also called floral waters or hydroflorates, are much milder than essential oils. During distillation, steam passes through plant material to extract essential oil, and the condensed water collected afterward contains trace aromatic compounds from the plant. This process creates a soft, lightly fragrant botanical water suitable for everyday skin care use.

Rose Floral Water can be used as a refreshing facial mist, toner, or hydrating base in cosmetic formulations. It is commonly incorporated into lotions, creams, clay masks, lip balms, soaps, and after-sun products to add gentle botanical hydration and a naturally pleasant rose aroma.
